Creation of MARINELEC Asia
With an increasing activity in Southeast Asia, a growing number of customers and an extensive network of partners throughout the area, MARINELEC takes another step in its organization. Thus, Pascal Citeau decided to create a new society that allows the company to be at the heart of the activity and closer to its customers.
Singapore-based MARINELEC Asia was born at the end of 2014 and its operation is strengthened by the support of a sales engineer on site who provides technical field support throughout Asia.

MARINELEC aboard the Dixmude in Singapour
As part of the export operation support (Soutex) organized by the GICAN (Professional group representing the French marine industry), MARINELEC boarded the BPC, projection and command vessel, Dixmude, on the occasion of its stopover in Singapore the 24th of April 2015.
This flagship of the French naval industry is a showcase of the know-how and the high-tech of the French companies in the sector. Thus, exhibiting on board, with a dozen companies, MARINELEC presented its expertise in the field of monitoring, control and alarm for the safety of ships.
For MARINELEC this was an opportunity to invite guests in a unique context and to present its technical innovations, such as the CPL, powerline communication applied to the information light columns, for which the company received an innovation award from the Minister of Defence, Jean-Yves Le Drian.
Sixty Singaporean guests, Navy representatives, the Ministry of Defence and industry partners visited the vessel and were able to share with the exhibiting companies. Present at the visit, the Ambassador of France in Singapore, Mr Benjamin DUBERTRET, did not fail to point out, during a press conference, the significant technological capabilities of our French industries.
MARINELEC will soon participate in a new Soutex mission organized by the GICAN in Jakarta, Indonesia.
