With the WIND OF CHANGE, MARINELEC Technologies imposes its presence in the offshore wind sector. This vessel, the first of its type in France, built for Louis Dreyfus Armateur, has recently commenced operation. It will carry out transport and personnel transfer missions from the port of Emdem, as well as aiding the maintenance of 231 turbines spread across 3 wind farms off the German coast. LDA insisted on a high level of comfort and maximum security to meet the requirements of the extreme operating conditions of the vessel. The owner needed the experience and know-how of a recognized major player in the naval industry and called upon MARINELEC Technologies, the French leader in fire detection.

Our MARINELEC ASIA team organised a seminar in Singapore for our ASEAN area regional partners.
The goal of the seminar was threefold :
To provide commercial training for our Asian partners on our differents products; the PHOENIX V2 fire detection and the supervising PHOENIX_MONITOR, the MACCS alarm system with the NORMA navigation lights display option and the analitical econometer ECOMER TC.
To discuss their respective local markets and businesses to look at the opportunities and potential risks and encourage the integration of our products and solutions in their market with targeted actions in order to expand our activity in the aera.
To foster synergies between the various companies present and strengthen our network of partners in Asia and Oceania.
The seminar which took place in May, gathered together 17 participants, the majority installers on our network from different countries in the area : Thailand, Indonesia, China, Japan, Malaysia, Philippines and Singapore.

Hervé Nouy, our commercial director, took his technicians hat with him to train our Mexican partners in MARINELEC fire detection systems.
The company, Servicios Múltiples del Sureste, S.A. de C.V. (SMS) based in Veracruz, Mexico, has joined MARINELEC’s international network of installers and distributors this year. This new partner specialises in the inspection, maintenance and certification of onboard rescue and safety equipment.
In the constant search to provide high quality services to its clients, SMS has invested in a bench test to train its teams in the maintenance of Marinelec conventional and addressable fire detection systems.
The training took place in April, allowing 19 people from 2 teams to become qualified. This trip to South America was an opportunity to present our latest products and strengthen our links with other partners in Brazil, Peru and Ecuador.
