MARINELEC and the yacht sector

A History of Loyalty

The year 2016 will be marked by sterling references for MARINELEC in the luxury yacht sector, leader in ship alarm solutions and security serveillance. We have indeed intervened on the occasion of refit and technical stop of several luxury yachts, on the Mediterranean and distant seas.

Douce France in Bangkok

The project at the heart of our team, we have completed the comprehensive refit of the Douce France catamaran yacht. A project carried out in Bangkok, Thailand, where our technicians came for the commissioning. The yacht underwent considerable work to the propulsion and energy production sides, as well as on the electrical and electronic installations. MARINELEC revisited some of the technical equipment, including the fire detection system, replaced by a Phoenix V2 panel. The navigation lighting control is now ensured by the Norma equipment. An element central to the monitoring systems, we have installed the Supervision equipment, complete and high performing, with remote access. The “remote control” gives the captain optimal use and technical assistance at any moment if necessary.

Douce France - Crédit Exmar

The history between MARINELEC and Douce France started from the construction of the yacht in 1990 at the french shipyard, Alumarine in Couëron(44). A great friendship was born with Patrick Jubeau, “the appointed electrician” of the boat. MARINELEC installed onboard its first navigation light panel and the fire detection system, as well as various control panels and alarms, to ensure the boat’s safety. Today, MARINELEC maintains a close relationship with the current managing company and is especially proud to equip Douce France with the most efficient systems, contributing to the comfort and security of the crew and guests

2016 Projects

During the first semester of 2016, MARINELEC has completed several projects in Europe. With our partner, Yacht Electronic Service, based in Bijela, Montenegro, we have equipped the Lady Mura (ex Helena), a 29.10 m Dominator yacht, with a Phoenix V2 fire detection panel and a BNWAS Lynx V3+ system.
At the same time, with our partner Yacht Elec based in La Ciotat, we have equipped the Fiorente, operating in the Mediterranean. We have already worked with this boat, built in 1990 under the name Passionata, 37 meters long. The yacht is now equipped with a comprehensive tank level measuring system Hydra 1600, including a 7inch screen and numerous sensors. We also supplied an Altair 16V2 alarm panel. With the company Electronic Yacht Equipment, also based in La Ciotat, we have unlocked a new market in the supply of navigation lighting systems of the Cocoa Bean II luxury yacht. During a technical stop, the 74 m boat, constructed in 2014 and operated in the Mediterranean, underwent extensive works on its masts.
