Our subsidiary, MARINELEC Asia is flourishing and we continue to strengthen our presence in the ASEAN region with the signing of a new contract with our Filipino partners NAVNAUTICS.
NAVNAUTICS PHILS. INC. (NPI) is an entirely Filipino company founded in 2007. They supply marine equipment and consult in the field of marine construction, maintenace and equipment repair in the Government shipping and the fishing sector. MARINELEC started to work with NAVNAUTICS PHILS. INC in 2016, for the construction of a cargo ship for EMIS, Ecology Marine Transport Specialists, INC. We have provided fire detection, level alarms and gas detection equipment, as well as supplying a comprehensive package of equipment for the 50m 2 MMOV Multi Mission Operation Vessel, built by the JOSEFA shipyard, including the fire detection system, navigational light control system, level measurement alarms and the order telegraphs.
The new partnership agreement with NAVNAUTICS will continue to strengthen our commercial ties and will allow us to take on new projects. In particular, we have signed an order to equip four, 78m ROPAX ships for SHOGUN Ships. “This partnership between our two companies aims to mobilise our teams to be more efficient and effective, to respond to the needs of our clients and equally to promote growth and our common development.” Mr. Arturo S.
