Loïc joins MARINELEC for Northern and Eastern Europe

Loïc Sfiligoï

Loïc Sfiligoï has recently joined MARINELEC. After several months at the company HQ in Quimper, our young commercial engineer, specialised in the fields of electronics and IT, is moving to Amsterdam in order to develop the MARINELEC activity in Northern and Eastern Europe. His main mission is to support our clients and future clients in the commercialisation and promotion of MARINELEC solutions.

The Netherlands is a region of maritime excellence, with a concentration of activities in every sector, from maritime works to passenger transport and yachting. It is also a strategic location for access to the neighbouring countries. Whilst we are already active in the region with a network of integration and installation partners, we hope to reinforce our presence and develop our activities in this market, the largest in Europe.
To fully meet these objectives with the responsiveness and proximity which characterises MARINELEC, Loïc will be based in Amsterdam from Janurary 2017: “ To dare to offer increasingly innovative and effective solutions for our clients is key at MARINELEC. I intend to contribute to the international development and expansion of this company, listening to the maritime world.”

A rendez-vous in Amsterdam

We will be happy to introduce Loïc to our clients and technical and commercial partners from the 15th - 17th November 2016 at the METS at Amsterdam.
We will be presenting our global offering and our products more specific to the yacht market.

Designer Detectors

Flush fire detectors

To meet the demands for evolution in terms of design, at the tradefair we are proposing a new range of fire detectors “Flush”. Discrete and entirely built-in, they fit perfectely into the interior fittings. These new detectors are offered in a wide range of colours adapted to the interior design of the ship.

The Asian workboat market

For many years MARINELEC has been present in South-East Asia, setting up its subsidary, MARINELEC Asia, based in Singpore. We have woven a network of agents and system integrators, working with shipyards building high tonnage commercial ships. Our fire detection equipments are a great success: we have equipped tankers for Petrobras, 3 CCS classed Chinese tankers with a tonnage of 49500DWT and a 300 foot Lift Boat ABS will be delivered next month.

Today we wish to promote our MARINELEC key solution packages from fire detection and monitoring systems through to visual and acoustic signalling or level measurement: a global offering, adapted to the workboat market such as tugs, passenger ships, patrol boats or even offshore wind farm support vessels. China is a territory as big as Europe, which has a multitude of shipyards specialised in this type of vessels. MARINELEC want to draw closer and meet the system integrators and shipowners. That is why we will be present for the first time at the Seawork Asia tradefair, in order to present our range of products and solutions and establish new technical and commercial partnerships.
