FISHING

MARINELEC at the ITECHMER trade fair

We will be present at the ITECHMER fishing industry trade fair at the Lorient Parc des Expositions (Lanester) from 18th-20th October.

We will be meeting with fishing professionals, listening to their needs, as they are particularly exposed to risks at sea. We are constantly innovating to improve their security, offering a complete range of competitive products, combining reliability, quality and ergonomics. Throughout the world, shipowners are benefiting from our technologies, ensuring security onboard, optimising navigation conditions and the operation of the vessel.

In 2017 we have equipped numerous fishing vessels including several trawlers; the 22m California and the 25m Diogène, built by Socarenam, the 15m Hollandais Volant, by Plastipêche, the 14m Zachary by CN Croisicais and at the Glehen shipyard, the Caraïbes 2, the first of a series of 3 15m vessels. Finally the 24m Bara Breizh, the latest of the Bigouden fleet.

Find us at the “Interprofession du Port de Concarneau” stand, Concarneau naval IPC.

FIRE DETECTION

Sea Fire training at MARINELEC

Julia Phillips, Bastien Sellin and Suzanne Micault

Last week we welcomed Julia Phillips, with one of her technicians, director of Sea Fire, one of our British partners, specialised in fire prevention. Their visit was part of the training for our fire detection systems.

Our partners were taken care of by our technicians and engineers of the design office, in order to transmit the skills and technical knowledge needed for the marketing and installation of MARINELEC products.
The key points of the training were both theoretical and practical:
- technical know-how and human resources of MARINELEC
- global offer of MARINELEC with a focus on the range of fire detection solutions
- conventional fire detection panel
- Phoenix addressable fire detection panel

ALARM

ALTO out loud !

Another new MARINELEC development for 2017, the ALTO is a 4 channels alarm system, guaranteeing light and sound signals for all types of sensors A.O.N (all or nothing) and particularly those destined for flooding and fire detection.
This new panel, of which the first models were sold at the IXBLUE (H2X) shipyard, has been developed specifically for very small units. MARINELEC offers a range of alarm solutions meeting the safety standards of all boats, even the smallest ones.

ALTO and MACCS

The MACCS solution to replace the range of alarm panels

Since its launch at the start of the year, the first models of the MARINELEC MACCS panels have emerged on the French and Asian markets. The marketing of this new range is allowing the progressive replacement of the ALTAIR and ALTOR alarms, and eventually, several products from the catalogue such as the HYDRA1600, ORION V2, CAPELLA and the AURIGA …

The MACCS system, Marine Advanced Customizable & Creative Solutions, is more efficient and more competitive with extensive features available. Our technical solution consists of a 7" colour touch screen, serving as the man-machine interface, of which the software allows the user to choose the product function(s), display the alarms or crew orders and any eventual setting adjustments.
Whatsmore, the MACCS can have up to 64 channels with the 7" touchscreen, and with our Alarm Monitoring System (AMS) solution, unlimited configurations are possible.
