Autumn-Winter fairs

From Hamburg to Monaco

Innovative MARINELEC technologies on show at the SMM and at the Monaco Yacht Show
From September 4th – 7th 2018, MARINELEC Technologies will exhibit at the SMM Hamburg trade fair in the France Pavilion, organised by GICAN and Business France. This is an unmissable event for MARINELEC in the world of international maritime and the perfect occasion to present the latest developments and innovative alarm and monitoring solutions for ship security. Forever guided by the search for solutions adapted to the technical, environmental and regulatory evolutions of the maritime sector and to the operational conditions of the ships, MARINELEC will be presenting a new system for centralising the display of equipment on the bridge.

Loyal to the yacht market, our team will also be present at the Monaco Yacht Show from September 26th-29th to offer this new equipment to our technical and commercial partners. This is a great opportunity for us to test this concept with captains and yacht owners, always on the quest to find new improvements in performance of ship security for crew and guests.

MANAGER centralises information to facilitate decision making

MARINELEC MANAGER on board

Seeking to improve the ergonomics of the equipment on the bridge, MARINELEC has an original concept of visualising the information in order to facilitate exploitation and to optimise the monitoring and management of the ship.
MANAGER is a new system that allows integrating, centralising and displaying simultaneously and in real time different equipment on the bridge. In particular, it allows us to integrate our Supervision, Alarm, and Monitoring System to optimise the security of the boat. Several systems can be displayed on the same large screen (46") : AMS, radar, sonar, CCTV, etc. The visualisation of this information is centralised but the equipment monitors remain controllable independently.

MANAGER is compatible with all commercial equipment, leaving the ship owner with plenty of choice.

By improving the ergonomics of the bridge, MANAGER reduces the workload for the crew, improving its capacity to process information and make decisions. The user has the choice of which equipment to display, separately or simultaneously. The control interface is on the touchscreen. The display format is configurable, adapting to the bridge and the integrated equipment on one or more screens. MANAGER also has a remote control system. Suitable for new builds or ship refits, MANAGER is already navigating its way aboard several vessels.

MARINELEC ASIA Doubles its Team

Céline Baudrand joins the crew

Céline Baudrand

In just a few years, our subsidiary MARINELEC Asia, based in Singapore, has woven a large network of agents and integrators and seen its activity grow intensively. A good relationship of trust has been established and Asian shipyards are showing a growing interest for the innovative systems of MARINELEC Technologies.

That is why MARINELEC has decided to strengthen its team by recruiting a new commercial engineer. The young graduate of ICAM Toulouse has engineering experience in aeronautical safety electronic systems. She is also an INSA graduate, where she earned her Masters specialising in MSIAI. With this dual technical and commercial expertise, Celine will have the task of accompanying our partners and clients in the field providing them with technical support.
